In a climate-and-ecological crisis, hundreds of nations have recognized the need for deep system change, but academics are largely engaging as they have since the 20th Century. That is, in ways oriented towards incremental change from the status quo. #SciOnEarthNet is an initiative of CoSphere and EarthNet that seeks to enable a broad base of experts from the natural and social sciences and humanities to provide valued input on real-world project ideas to confront the planetary crisis.
