Hi Shanzeh, thanks for sharing! It's definitely a shock to me that we are exposed so frequently to BPA in our daily lives, and I believe it must pose an even higher risk to the cashiers. Yet receipts are also a huge amount of waste that we only probably need it for a few minutes. I really hope electronic receipts and more technologies can be implemented to eliminate the used of paper receipts.

I think most of us didn't think there could be a problem of plastic poppies since we are already used to the way they are sold and used, so I also hope more products that are used once in a year for other purposes (Christmas, Canada Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc) could also be transitioned to biodegradable options.

Hi Zhaochen, that's a great idea! It would be really helpful to measure the consumption for each individual and corporation, but I just feel like it might be hard to practically decide the quota across individuals in different areas and corporations in different sizes

I absolutely agree that we need more transparency in the economy. We should know more about what is underlying the products so we can have a better decision on our purchases
