For our final project, we conducted a workshop at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School with a Gr. 11/12 Geography Class. We provided them with the foundational knowledge necessary to mobilize their visions and values regarding the negative effects of pesticide use on soil health and solutions that address the root of this issue. We hoped to empower them with ideas and resources to put their visions guided by their values into practice through actionable initiatives. We practiced unleashing their existing environmental values of responsibility to enable action that will hopefully transcend beyond this workshop.
