I envision a future where together as a society, we grow and work together to develop sustainable ways to limit our carbon footprint. By educating others about the effects of greenhouse gasses and the effect of over-consumption, I believe in the value of empowering others to meet the same goal. Things need to change and it needs to start now. Through small actions such as taking transit, biking to school, recycling, buying second-hand items and volunteering for events that inspire others to do the same, this would contribute to a brighter and positive future. We are all in this together, join our journey #unleashvalues

Hi Cindy I love your ideas on small actions that can help generate greater change. Volunteering I thought was a great way to engage with your community and start these conversations. Understanding we are all in this together is a great value to have!
Hi Cindy!
I completely agree with you! Building towards a sustainable future all starts with everyone taking small steps forward and working together, and there are so many small things that we can all start incorporating slowing.
It's great that taking small actions such as taking transit and biking to school can contribute to such a great goal. Realistically, for example, transit systems can be time-consuming and often inaccessible making it difficult for everyone who wants to contribute.
Hi Cindy,
Thank you for sharing your values. I also agree that inorder for change to happen, society needs to empower each other and grow together. Theres so many small actions that we can incorperate in our daily life!
Hi Cindy, I agree that education is very important if we ever want to move towards a more sustainable lifestyle. And like you said, taking small actions can help put these words to real use, that can help benefit future generations and our planet for years to come.
I think that our small actions absolutely do make significant differences. Although individually our actions may be small, we can influence others and cause them to do the same. If this effect manages to cascade into the societal level, we may be able to change our lifestyles in a sustainable way!
Hi Cindy, I think growing together to develop sustainability is important. However, while I agree that these small actions are definetly a good start but I want to add onto it via education and how we can encourage a concious choice in all of our actions as the Earth is very important to us.
I like your mention of growing and working together! I agree that education holds a lot of power.
I like your mention of focusing on the positives and how we can move forward by empowering other! Education is definitely one of the first steps to change.
The change starts with each and every one of us! I'm excited to see what we can accomplish as a group together!
I quite agree with your opinion, but I think it is not easy for all or most people to do so, and many people may not be willing to do so, especially in such a fast-paced era as now, it is difficult for people to accept low-emission and low-efficiency transportation tools. Add to that the fact that people are busy with their lives, and it's hard for them to make a difference.
I love those little steps...I wish we can take a big step someday in the future, hope we could see that day coming soon.
To echo your sentiments, I too believe education is one of the most powerful weapons we can wield to institute change in the world. While unfortunate, as the condition of our globe worsens, more eyes and ears will be brought to the brutal and harsh realities of climate change. Taking steps as individuals is an amazing way to raise awareness and mobilize efforts towards building a sustainable future, but it will ultimately take a global effort to make a dent in repairing the severe damage we have caused our planet.
I believe that one of the main reasons why we will not reach the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) set by the United Nations is the lack of education we have as a society pertaining to the environmental crisis we have at hand. With the current global warming issues, that is all everyone wants to blame for the damage caused to the planet. Not littering, pollution, carbon emissions, fast fashion, or consumerism, but climate change. We need to educate others if we want to leave a positive future for the coming generations.
Hi Cindy I totally agree that educating others is important to develop a sustainable society! Only this way more and more people can understand the issue and truly start an environmental-friendly lifestyle!
I totally agree with everything you said. I love the vision of empowering others, and uplifting eachother along the journey.
I think that's a really great vision for the future! I love volunteering as well! <3
I like the emphasis you put on "we." To see real change we need everyone in society to be on board! Education, transparency, and cooperation :)
Education is super important in creating meaningful change!
I love this vision of the future! We could all work together to educate each other and lessen our negative impact on the planet.
