Most of the time, we hear the voice of someone who has chances to speak to us, but it doesn't mean that the voice we don’t hear, they are not exist. First nation suffered unjust treatment, ignored by the majority of the society. Their water and land suffered, but this would not just happen in indigenous people. The polluted water will finally flow and the food planted in polluted land would sell to everyone, including the people who allow to release the untreated waste in indigenous lands. Indigenous people have rights to reject the garbage and wastes from other places and other people.

Hello S! This was a really impactful post and I feel that you made really good points. It's painful to see how the First Nation's people are suffering and if we don't speak up with them, there is a chance they will never be heard.
Agreed! Imagine if this happened to our own homes. We would do everything to prevent it from getting worse and worse. But since it's not our homes, we relieve responsibility and continue going about our lives.
I agree! If this keeps continuing, sooner or later everyone will be affected by the polluted water.
Hi S, I agree that society is to blame for not listening to their voices. We all have a part in taking care of each other!
